Dual Wall Softex™ Grips
One of the key elements of the double dip process is that it allows us to combine durable internal liner materials with softer, more comfortable exterior layers. As an example, this rake utilizes a double dipped grip featuring a durable liner that fits tightly and effectively caps off the end of the fiberglass extruded handle along with a Softex™ textured outer layer for added comfort and slip-resistance for the user.

Dual Wall “Foam” Grips
While many designers love the comfortable feel that a foam grip provides, traditional foam grips lack the durability and tight fit required for their application. Using the double dipping process, a proprietary vinyl foam material and an innovative channel grip design that expands the outside diameter of the grip, GripWorks was able to develop an ergonomic, yet extremely durable solution for this manufacturer of high-end electrical tools.

Two-color Grips
Another benefit of the double dipping technology is its ability to create two-color grips that enhance the consumer appeal of a product. As innovators in hand grip technology, we helped pioneer this concept with one of the leading tool producers of their day to create an entire line of highly branded grips.
