Foam Grips

Made from a variety of proprietary foam formulas, GripWorks’ line of foam grips contains the solution for almost any hand grip application. Styles range from standard foam bicycle grips to extruded foam grips for rake handles and other long handled tools. Materials also come in a wide variety of formulas, densities, and finishes.

To assist you in selecting the best foam grip for your application, we have divided this section of our site into two distinct groups: styles and materials.

Foam Grip Styles

The style of a particular foam grip refers to the design or look of the exterior of the grip. All foam grips start out as smooth foam tubes that have a relatively shiny exterior surface. Some of these foam tubes serve as the actual grip, while others are converted into more interesting designs.

Foam Grip Materials

As you may imagine, not all foam grips are created alike. Different rubber and plastic compounds are used to achieve foam materials with very different physical characteristics and properties. At GripWorks, our chemists have spent a significant amount of time developing materials that focus on meeting the unique needs of our clients.

Most of these formulas are available in multiple densities. Density is the measurement of material per cubic inch and it is highly related to the durability and cushion that a grip will possess.

With four different foam materials and a variety of density choices, GripWorks is the undisputed leader in foam grip selection.
