Heat Shrink Tubing is produced from thermoplastic materials and is used to insulate wires, among other uses. The tubing shrinks in diameter when heated, providing a seal around the wires or items inside the tube. Industry norm represents this product by size or diameter of the tubing, e.g., 3/64, 1/16, etc., and this is the same as the Minimum Expanded Inside Diameter. The Maximum Recovered Inside Diameter is the size after shrinking.
